Command and Conquer history is very different from our own history, but it all started in 1946.
1946: Albert Einstein used his Chronosphere device to go back in time and kill Hitler before he could start WWII (as we
know it) with Hitler out of the way; the world was free to enjoy peace and prosperity. the allied nations wanted to make sure
nothing like WWI would never happen again, however Russia wanted nothing to do with this new alliance.
1962: Josef Stalin leads in invasion to take over all of Europe and have a "Continental Empire" a few months
later, the Soviet forces fail and Stalin is killed. the allies appoint a new leader for Russia, Alexander Romanov.
mid-1979: civil war breaks out in Mexico; Romanov sends his troops to stop the violence and unrest in the client state.
the USA forces under President Michael Dugan leave the soviets alone. a few months later, the USA's early warning systems
are shut down, the in-country agents are missing, some have been seen working with the KGB, soviet warships have been spotted,
moving at high speeds into the Atlantic,
When the soviets push through from Mexico, troops land in Florida, and citizens have reported headaches and other ill
affects an many major cities in the US. Romanov's chief advisor Yuri is responsible for this. the allies retreat to Canada
and regroup. a few months later, the third world war is over, but Yuri was not among the dead or captured. what happen to
this madman? the world would know soon enough...
1989: Yuri surfaces. bringing his own army, and trying to take over the world with his mind-control technology. the allies
call in an air-strike to one of Yuri's Psychic Dominators, damaging the power plant and rendering it useless. Einstein invented
the time machine, and was going to use it to go back in time and destroy the dominators before they could be completed. the
Soviets found out about this, took a small chunk of there remaining forces, and stole the time machine. the soviets go back
in time, and win the war, then they destroy Yuri's fortress. Yrui escaped into the past, but because of quick reactions by
Lt. Zophia, he goes back to the time of the dinosaurs and gets eaten.
2004: the middle-east forms an alliance and tries to "Liberate" the globe. the organization is called the Global
Liberation Army (or GLA). this invasion is thwarted by a joint-attack between the USA and China.
2024: a meteor crashes into the earth near the Tiber River in Italy. the substance is extremely toxic to normal life-forms
and it spreads very quickly, at the same time 2 new organizations form the Global Defense Initiative (or GDI) and the Brotherhood
of Nod. Kane was originally in the first allied/soviet war then disappeared until now. with the help of the Ion Cannon and
other new advances in technology, the GDI wins this war. Kane is presumed dead.
2055: Nod tries once again to take over the world, armed with even more new technology, and a supercomputer named CABAL,
the nod almost succeed. the GDI destroys Nod's world altering missile and Kane is killed by GDI's commander McNeil.
2064: nod rebuilds CABAL as the brotherhood is shattered and out of control, but without Kane to control him, CABAL is
running wild. a joint-attack by GDI and Nod finally manages to destroy CABAL. (or so we think)
